NH-87 expansion: Cabinet approves Rs 1,853 crore 4-lane highway, to connect Paramakudi and Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu

The Union Cabinet has sanctioned a Rs 1,853.16 crore project to construct a 4-lane highway along the Paramakudi–Ramanathapuram section of NH-87 in Tamil Nadu. Implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Mode, the project aims to alleviate traffic congestion, improve safety, and enhance connectivity between major national and state highways.
